CSA Add-On Shares

CSA add-ons are shares from other businesses and Schul Farmstead that will enhance your local food experience. Add-on shares are perfect for those wanting to expand their support of local farms and small businesses, experiment with new products or ingredients, and make the most of in season items.

How it works: When registering for our produce CSA share, you have the option of adding a share of other local food products. These items will be ready for you at your weekly pick up location.

CSA members will have until May 1, 2024 to purchase an add-on share to their weekly pick up. Please email schulfarmstead@gmail.com if you would like to purchase an add-on share if you have already completed the registration form.

Additional add-on shares will be added and communicated to members as they are finalized.

Cheese

We’re partnering with Eden Valley Creamery to bring you artisan cheese from certified organic milk. Their cows receive no antibiotic treatments, artificial hormones, and no pesticides or herbicides are used on their crops and fields. In the summer time, they enjoy the sunshine and the growing grass.

Shares feature a rotating sequence of an 8oz. container of curds and an 4oz. block of aged cheese. *New for 2024 – members select which flavors they’d like to have in their share, and only receive those cheese and curd combinations.*

Curd varieties include: Buffalo, Garlic, Horseradish, Onion & Chives, Original/Plain, and Tomato Basil. Get the flavor details.

Aged Cheese varieties include: Buffalo Roads Swiss, Farmer in the Dill, Good Neighbor’s Gouda, Homegrown Havarti, and Queen City Cheddar. Get the flavor details.

Bi-weekly shares begin June 12 (week 1) and continue on odd weeks throughout the season for $150. In total you will receive your cheese share for 10 weeks.

Typically curds retail at $7.75 and wedges retail at $13.50, so you’ll save $6.25 with each week of the share.

Curds will store for 3 weeks and cheese will store for 2 months.

All bread is prepared in a kitchen that uses milk, wheat, soy, eggs, dairy, tree nuts, and peanuts.

4 pounds of mixed greens is $16.
